Clipsal 500 is Australia's largest domestic motor sport event. A crowd of 286,500 patrons attended the 2013 event, with 'sold out' signs placed at the gates on Sunday when the largest single day attendance in the event's history of 95,000 people was recorded.
The significance of Clipsal 500 was highlighted in 2005 when legendary motor sport authority, Murray Walker, described it as the 'best touring car event in the world'.
In 2013, spectators were treated to more action than ever when Nissan and Mercedes entered the grid to take on Ford and Holden. Off-track action was just as exciting with family fun in the TrAction Zone, Ken Block, KISS, Motley Crue, Hilltop Hoods and more.
2014 Clipsal 500 will be just as spectacular and one event not to be missed.
