Giant pandas, Adelaide Zoo, South Australia

Watch or swim with dolphins in Glenelg. Visit the only giant pandas in the southern hemisphere, Wang Wang and Funi, at the Adelaide Zoo.

Head for the hills

Take a day trip to Hahndorf, the Adelaide Hills’ most famous town, with an interesting German history. Stop at nearby Cleland Wildlife Park to feed kangaroos and hold a koala.

Hit the beach

Catch a tram from Adelaide to Glenelg to relax on the beach or swim with dolphins. Enjoy al fresco dining on Jetty Road or at Holdfast Marina.   Go fishing on the Eyre Peninsula. Feast on oysters, lobsters and abalone. Swim with sea lions or tuna. Thrill seekers can cage dive with great white sharks!
